Weber is known as the gold standard for grills. You’ll find their grills gracing backyards, patios, and decks across the country and around the world. They’re a huge brand that’s been around for a long, long time. And they’re still going strong because Weber grills are built to last longer than your lifetime. Just ask anyone who’s had a Weber grill handed down to them by their father or grandfather. Of course, it also doesn’t hurt that Weber grills perform beautifully, no matter the griller’s level of experience. Moreover, they provide excellent customer service and support. It’s no wonder that it’s the top pick of many serious backyard chefs.
While Weber is synonymous to charcoal grilling, it also offers a number of excellent gas grills to the outdoor chef. These models come in a variety of sizes and feature differing technologies and specifications. However, despite Weber’s long-standing reputation, there are serious contenders in the gas grill category that could give this brand a run for its money. One of them is Broil King.
Now, Broil King has a well-earned reputation as a manufacturer of high quality charcoal and gas grills that range from portable to large models. This Canadian brand has a history that’s almost as long as Weber. The quality of workmanship of their grills ensures that they are built to last a good long time. Broiler even backs this up by providing their grills with a lifetime warranty for the cookbox and lid which is not something you often see in the market. In addition, the quality of cooking offered by Broil King grills is mouth-watering. Add in the price that is considerably cheaper than a Weber, it’s easy to see why this brand is often compared to the mighty Weber.
Of course, it’s easy to say that it must be Weber because it has been synonymous with high quality BBQ since the beginning of grills. But when it comes to mano-a-mano, is it really the Weber grill that will win? Or would the Broil King be a much better option? Let’s find out!
